Garrett, can you tell us a bit more about your background?
Took piano and guitar lessons starting at age 6. Began writing songs at age 10. Formed my own music publishing company (Midnight Moon Music (BMI)) at age 16. Toured with several bands as a drummer in the 70’s into the early ‘80s. Learned percussion in high school. Formed the Delta Record Label in 1978 in Memphis, TN with my cousins. Recorded my first song in 1975. My first released record was as a drummer on the Ray Clodoveo Accordion Orchestra “God Bless America” album in 1976. My first record was “Autumn Bride” on our Delta label. The next was “Goodbye T.M.I.” in 1979 also on Delta. Worked with a few demo companies in New York and Tennessee.

When it comes to working with SupremeTracks – what problem were you trying to solve when you reached out to us?
Wanted to find a good company to provide professional backtracks for a recording session here in San Antonio, Texas. Local musicians were hard to find at a reasonable price and not very good.
And how was this problem affecting you?
It was annoying and keeping my projects on hold.
Surely you’ve had more options. What possible solutions did you consider?
Considered doing multi-track overdubs with myself and a guitar player I found but this would have taken months! Back up singers, which I feel are extremely important, are hard to come by and auditioning singers was too much of a headache… plus egos always got in the way.
How did you decide to work with us?
I did an Internet search and looked at a few companies but Supreme Track provided the best choices and production samples. The musicians and arrangements are the first rates and I can’t say enough about the back-up singers!
Glad we could help. Were there any risks you considered regarding working remotely with us?
Actually, I never thought about it. After talking with Jake, I felt completely at ease and it was the best decision.
That’s such a compliment. We can both agree that our collaboration turned out to be very successful, but are there any measurable results that you’ve seen from your songs?
Every track recorded with Supreme Tracks has gone to #1 on the Soundclick Internet Charts I am proud to say that “Rings Of Gold” was the biggest hit. Had 45 rpm records of that song pressed and they sold out fast!
